The Jacuzzi was great...Everything was great...words cant really explain....please can you say hello to Omar for us and thank him for all his help while we were at the appartment...we done loads of ativites that kept us busy during the day and we spent most of our evenings at the Oliver bar near the appartment which was fantastic too....

Thank you for making our stay in Iceland so comfortable. The apartment was absolutely spectacular! It was a joy to wake up to a beautiful view of the ocean and snow-capped mountains every morning. The kitchen was well equipped with all the utensils we could ever need and the décor was impeccable. Your hospitality and attentiveness made us feel as though we were visiting old friends. Also many thanks for generously supplying us with DVDs for the kids. We all truly felt like we were at home – only better! One thing we don’t have at home is an outdoor jacuzzi. Now that we’ve had the experience of luxuriating in warm, bubbly water outdoors while the temperature is near freezing, windy and sometimes rainy, it’s hard to come back to a plain old bathtub. We will never forget our time in Iceland and we will never forget your kindness. Ómar, the kids adored you and are showing off your “Iceland bear” gift to all their friends at school. Best wishes as you continue to expand the accommodations at Room With a View. I have referred all my friends, family and co-workers to your website address, should they ever take a trip to Iceland. After seeing our pictures and hearing about all the wonderful sights, I suspect that many of them will be visiting you soon.

We have now got back to normality with the exception of having any money (!) and I am writing to thank you for your kind hospitality at A Room With A View when we were over a few weeks ago! It seems like a lifetime ago but the memories of a fantastic long weekend in Iceland will remain forever! The serviced apartments (and hot tub!) of yours were unbelievable and were absolutely perfect for us being in such good condition and the location is ideal - we couldn't have wished for anything better! Thank you for everything you did for us to make our stay as easy as possible - you were a superb host and everyone appreciated what you did. Iceland is a wonderful place and it will be recommended to everyone in Scotland!

Thank you so much for the most incredible stay...Iceland is stunning and we hope to return one day - we did not get to see and do all that we had hoped! Your rooms were divine and perfect in every element, right down to the selection of CD's...Cafe Del Mar - will always remind us of our hot bubble baths together sipping Champagne...so special to spend time with my beautiful sisters whom are my best friends. A the best way to break into your thirties!

Just a quick note of thanks to you and your colleagues to say how much my friend John and I enjoyed our one night stay in apartment 302 at Room With a View, last Saturday 1st July. As I might have explained when I phoned to reserve on Friday night, a very nice lady at the Northern Light Inn by the Blue Lagoon recommended you when I explained that we were having difficulty finding a hotel room in Reykjavik. Naturally we were relieved to hear that you had a room available, but we were also very pleasantly surprised to discover quite how comfortable, well appointed and reasonably priced it was - especially given your convenient central location. It was a shame we could only stay for one night, but we certainly hope to return to Room With a View again and stay for a few days longer. I guess we were lucky that you had vacancies at such short notice, but for future reference perhaps you could advice how far in advance we should reserve at different times of the year, especially if we would prefer a certain category of room? Finally, we thought you may be interested to hear that Room With a View was recommended in a city guide to Reykjavik for business travellers (clic on the link below to download it): (July/August 2006) of British Airways' inflight magazine 'Business Life' So thanks once again and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Specifically, I want to let you know how much I appreciate you giving Jeremy and me a ride to the bus yesterday after we missed the pick-up for the Blue Lagoon. You certainly went above-and-beyond the call of duty. Thanks. You have done enough already, but if you happen to come across a disposable camera or pill organizer, please let me know. I am afraid that I misplaced both and I would be willing to pay for their recovery should you find them in our room (Room 311). Thanks again. This place is the best and an absolute bargain! We stayed 4 nights in the studio apartment (403), paying only $99 USD per night (even cheaper in the winter months.) As anyone who is reading this would know - Iceland is hideously expensive so we wondered what we were in for with Room With A View but it was all wonderful! Arnie did not mind that we arrived late ("11pm is not late. If you had arrived at 2am - that would be late") and when he first took us to our room, I thought we were visiting his apartment. No - it was our apartment!! Having cooking facilities was excellent as it saved on costs. There is a convenience store down the hill a few blocks but if you are prepared to walk up the hill for about 6 blocks - there is a Bonus Supermarket which has a larger variety and is a bit cheaper. Note** - it closes at 6pm. I would recommend this place to anyone - even the fussiest traveller will be happy.
